El Jerarca is a symbol of distinction and refinement
Originating in the fertile Andean mountains, it is cultivated and harvested by hand at La Moka, a farm located in the municipality of Concordia, Antioquia. Microlots between 1,800 and 2,045 meters above sea level make El Jerarca a high-altitude coffee with a lush, fresh, and delicate aroma, marked by a fine fruity acidity, a vibrant and creamy body, a panela aroma, and a defined flavor with floral and peach notes.

OUR BEGINNINGS
Our father cultivated the La Moka farm for many years with all his passion and commitment, selling his coffee to cooperatives like all the other coffee growers in the region. For a long time, although they produced coffee, it was the coffee purchased at the supermarket that each coffee-growing household consumed.

2010
His daughter, Dora Alvarez, thanks to her connection to the agricultural sector, had the characteristics of La Moka coffee evaluated, finding a coffee of immense quality. This is where the idea of being able to enjoy a cup of coffee grown on the farm itself was born.
Giving added value to the work of so many years and as a tribute to our father, this valuable treasure was called "The Hierarch", hardworking, persistent, and vehemently defending his ideas.

NOWADAYS
It's El Jerarca, the coffee we all now have the privilege of enjoying. It's a source of pride to be able to provide the farm workers with the coffee they harvest themselves and to be able to bring our family, friends, and clients a cup of coffee made from the heart.
